Two most important press releases were held yesterday for the development of basketball at Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia Pro Basketball League and Malaysia Women Basketball League were organised by two organisers separately to show that to bring basketball to other heights are the obligations from all of us.
Bina Puri Group in conjunctions with Kuala Lumpur Basketball Association (KLBA) has launched “ KL Bina Puri Women Basketball Team” to participate in Malaysia Women Basketball League and giving the incentives awards to the 3 players from KLBA for being clinched the Gold medal in the 2017 SEA Games. The other press release was the launching of Malaysia Pro Basketball League organised by MABA. This is to say in this coming Saturday will have 3 basketball leagues at Kuala Lumpur area include Urban Basketball League organised by 3 different organisers.
Urban Basketball League were having two games in the last two days, VAG vs MMBC at TAR Collage on Monday and Go Young vs Red Baron at Taman Connaught separately.
VAG starts with slowly against MMBC, 10-11 behind 1 point in the 1st period.
In the 2nd period, the import player Collins Cornelius (15)was showing an excellent play consecutive scores and gains most of the rebounds.
VAG certainly not to be outdone and starts with a powerful offensive in the 3rd period, till the end of the period, 45-44 led by 1 point.
Just begin of the 4th period, both team back and forth in status, but with the better teamwork, MMBC wins VAG by 11 points, 67-56.
MMBC Collins Cornelius (15) playing an important role in this game, personal gain 17 points, 19 rebound,4 assists and Say Fung Ooi (31) 14points and 2 rebounds. Even though VAG Siew Ming Lee (0) scores the highest point in this game 18 points & 3 rebounds, can’t save the victory of this game with Chee Seng Lim (7) contributed 15 points and 4 rebounds.

There was another wide margin game between Go Young and Red Baron. Leading by 45-21 half time and 103-42 when finished the game.
Go Young best player in this game Benjamin Sim (5) scores 18, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Daniel Jonathan Eves(33) still maintain a hero for this game 27 points, 13 rebound and 4 assists, while Chee Hou Chong (20) 17points, 6 rebounds +2assists，Zhee Lun, Alan Tio (15) 11 points, 2 rebounds and David Ngan Pagbe (00)gains 10 points + 9 rebounds and 3 assists.

昨天一连两个国内注目的篮球联赛新闻发布会，显示吉隆坡地区的篮球脉搏一直在跳动。两个都是国内最重要的马来西亚职业篮球联赛和马来西亚女子篮球联赛分别由两个不同的组织主办，把篮球的发展推向另一高峰，大家责无旁贷。。
吉隆坡高峰集团在其总部配合吉隆坡篮总推介“吉隆坡高峰集团女子篮球俱乐部”参加马来西亚女子篮球联赛， 也颁发了奖励金表扬了3位吉隆坡的主将在2017东运会勇夺金牌。另一边厢由大马篮总主办的马来西亚职业男子篮球联赛也会在这个周末开始，这个周六也就是说包括全民篮球联赛， 将会有3个不同的主办者同一天进行三个篮球联赛， 热闹非常。
全民篮球联赛在前两天进行了两场比赛， 分别是星期一在文良港拉曼学院由大马篮球媒体队(MMBC) 上门挑战VAG篮球队。另一场是昨晚在康乐花园由年轻人(Go Young) 对垒红男爵篮球队 (Red Baron) 。
VAG 对垒大马媒体队开始节奏缓慢，第一节10-11主队落后2分。
第二节开始大马媒体队，外援Collins Cornelius (15) 有如神助，频频得分和拿下篮板球，半场休息26-34， 8分领先VAG队。
VAG 在第三节开始不甘示弱，开始凌厉攻势， 终在第三节完场以45-44反超1分。
第四节进行时， 双方互有进账一来一往咬紧不放。过后大马媒体队队形比较完整， 最后以56-67 击败主队VAG。
大马媒体的Collins Cornelius (15) 在这一场首胜中扮演重要的角色，个人取得17分19篮板和4个助攻和 Say Fung Ooi (31) 14分和2篮板，成为主要赢球的功臣。VAG Siew Ming Lee (0)虽得18分全场之冠和3个篮板， 也挽不回面对主场失守的局面，另一位主将Chee Seng Lim (7) 得15分和4个篮板。

昨晚的一场实力悬殊的比赛中， 红男爵篮球队依然笑春风，在上半场45-21领先年轻人， 丝毫没有放松比赛来打。完场时以破百103-42战胜年轻人。
年轻人靠着Benjamin Sim(5)取得18分9篮板3助攻成为该队唯一特出的球员，红男爵则任然由Daniel Jonathan Eves(33) 放任翱翔取得27分13篮板和4助攻，Chee Hou Chong(20) 17分6篮板2助攻，Zhee Lun, Alan Tio (15)11分2篮板和慢热的外援David Ngan Pagbe (00)也砍下10分9篮板和3个助攻， 成为球队致胜的得分球员。
